Purchasing a new cooling system for your home can be nerve racking. If it's time to replace an aging or worn out air conditioner, we are here to help make the process easy. A cooling system is one of the biggest uses of energy in your home but it doesn't have to be costly. Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER™) is the new standard in the air conditioning and heating industry used to estimate an air conditioner's performance. It's an efficiency rating of your installed system, factoring in effects of the ducting and the construction of your home.

Why should I consider replacing my existing working air conditioner?

If your utility bills seem to keep going up, and up, and up, or your system just doesn't seem to be able to keep you cool on some of the hottest day, it may simply be at the end of its life cycle and unable to operate efficiently anymore. Air conditioning systems do wear out over time, and if your system is the original equipment installed by the builder, you're likely to start seeing inefficiencies when the system is only eight to ten years old.

Because your air conditioner is only one part that affects the SEER™, we'll also analyze your home's ductwork, construction, and layout. If any one piece of your system isn't up to top shape it can affect your overall SEER™, your comfort, and can cost you a lot of unnecessary expense and energy consumption. After the analysis, we will recommend the best solution. It is not uncommon to find the ductwork needs to be fixed or replaced, or that other factors are contributing to the problem. But when these problems are fixed or the right air conditioner is installed, you will immediately notice the difference in your comfort and your energy bills.

Performance Guarantee

Sobieski Services guarantees that when the equipment we installed is maintained and operated in accordance with the manufacturer's operating and maintenance manuals, the system will perform as we have stated. We promise a maintained temperature variance of no more than three degrees from your temperature selection to the actual temperature on your thermostat when you are heating or cooling your home. If the installation temperatures are not achieved, we will make any necessary modifications, repairs or replacements at no charge to you for a period of five years.
